Fuji X100

For a good year or so I have been toying with the idea of buying a Fuji X100. A beautiful solid retro fixed lense camera. The idea, that I would feel about this camera the way I did about my film camera's years ago.
Although my digital Slr's are my workhorses and are very much needed, I still dont take great pleasure in the camera's themselves. So at last I have purchased the Fuji X100 which I will be recieving early next week.
If you want a good review of this have a look at the link below of Ken Rockwells review. Damien Lovegrove also has a good review below.
I did try to make my Olympus Pen as my personal camera but the EPL-1 is so plasticy it feels as though I'm using a toy at times. Although I have had some lovely images from it.
The X100 however should bring back that solid feel that I miss in camera's these days.
Its also supposed to be outstanding in low light which is always a big plus for a photographer like myself who tends to take low light images without using flash.
For the reportage side of things at weddings it would also be nice to be even more discreet than I already am.
I will be playing with the camera over the next few weeks and upload some nice pictures.
I have a good few weddings over the next couple of months but I will try to keep this blog updated as much as possible.
Here are the reviews I mentioned
